This essence was made after severe bushfire's had gone through our area, and there were concerns for the wildlife especially those at the top of food chains. A group of people all with different skills gathered to make an essence or mandala of essences to support one of the animals in difficulty. It was a new process for me and each of the people in the group. The Tawny Frogmouth was chosen during meditation and over the following 6 months a series of essences were made with a Tawny Frogmouth and of plants and environments that support the bird in its habitat. In the few days after our first meeting a tawny was brought in, confused and disorientated, for care at the aviary of one of the group members who is involved in native animal rescue.
This essence was made in co-operation with this bird who was named Fern as it was found in Fern St, and was later released.
This essence communicates an experience of "self" through a process of interconnectedness with others and our environment. It facilitates listening to ones environment as a process of interconnectedness. To delineate "self" through acknowledgement of Oneness with, rather than through perception of difference. This can begin the process of self acceptance, the surfacing of complete identity without shock or separation.
Very often we hold aspects of ourselves in the unconscious or suppressed from conscious view, as an act of survival. In these situations this essence can bring relief.
